Obituary


Thomas passed away peacefully Saturday January 6, 2018. He is survived by his dear sisters Rita Fiore (nee Merriman) and Bernadette Moore (nee Merriman), 7 nieces and nephews, 15 grand-nieces and nephews along with 8 great-grand nieces and nephews.

A Philadelphia native, Thomas spent the majority of his life residing in the Fairmount area of the city where he had many friends and neighbors. Thomas was also a Philadelphia sports fan often rooting the latest Eagles and Phillies games.

A Philadelphia native, Thomas spent the majority of his life residing in the Fairmount area of the city where he had many friends and neighbors. Thomas was also a Philadelphia sports fan often rooting the latest Eagles and Phillies games.

Thomas will always be remembered as a good hearted, loving, family man. Having no children of his own, Thomas formed close bonds with his sisters' children. He remained an attentive and involved Uncle through-out their lives and into the lives of their children and most recently, his great-grand nieces and nephews. All will forever hold memories of a helpful, kind, loving Uncle.

Family and friends are invited to the Viewing on Friday January 12, 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Holy Savior Church, 50 Emerald Ave, Haddon Twp, NJ, 08108. A Mass will take place at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
